Well after 11 years of pretty standard kit with only one or two minor changes, new driver, net 3-wood etc... In the last 6 months I have overhauled my kit with the final purchase today. I've gone from this:

R510 TP 8.5deg
980F 15deg and 19deg
Burner Tour (1998) 3-9 iron
50deg, 56deg and 60deg

And now it is as listed in the sig below. I may look at a new putter soon as I have lost all feel out of the old Scotty.

Should be a great season!

From the top:

R9 TP Driver Stiff 9.5deg
R9 TP 4-Wood Stiff 17deg
X-Forged Prototype 3-9 Stiff (rifle flighted) 48deg, 52deg, 56deg, 60deg CG12 Wedges Newport Longneck TeI3 One Black

Yeah I hope so, the thing at the other end of the grip is the problem! For ages I have been using "out of date" gear and seeing player of a similar standard start hitting it further and straighter or get more spin or hole more puts and only a certain % of that has been a change in technique. I gained 20 yards with the new driver and I now get so much spin with those new wedges I have to take that into account when judging yardages. Bring on the first regional open of the year on Saturday.
