i am sort of looking to get new irons and ive heard to get them custom made, and to get great shafts and not to worry about the brand of the club heads but just to get some that look and feel good and fit my game. any body know anything about these lesser known brands. snake eyes are the only ones i know anything about. are any of the other brands such as Acer any good?

i wouldnt even put acer up into a category with snake eyes.. snake eyes is a great company that makes great quality clubs. Acer is more of a "cloney" type club.

I have a Snake Eyes forged 7 iron of a model that was replaced last year. It is a terrific club, I hit it better than I hit my Burners.
