I was able to spend 30 mintues with one yesterday at a demo. I was really impressed with it. Anyone have a chance to hit this club? What were your thoughts of it?

Well, take this comment with a grain of salt, as I am not the most consistent ball-striker around. Compared to my Burner, I found it moved in the air a lot more than I'm used to. The little things that I do that would cause a fade in my Driver sliced with the I-15, and vice versa. I did hit it a mile though, and it looked great at address. I personally wouldn't recommend it to anyone that struggles to hit it straight with a Driver, but as a 3.3 handicap, I doubt you have those issues.

Its a fade biased driver, the rep told me. So a couple of tailing shots didnt disturb me too much. I hit mostly fades with the driver i use now. For some reason, it felt i could be more aggressive through the ball with the i15. My 909 i feel have to treat like a little baby sometimes and massage it.

That's a great club... I bought the G15 instead because I'm not consistent with the driver and a fade bias could become a slice. Everything from the look, feel and sound was great... just not ready for it now. This website has a good review thats very informative.

I just picked mine up during lunch, 8* with Axivcore Red stiff. I miss right when I miss, so it's not logical that I picked this club, but I play a 9015D now and don't have much issue with it. If my swing is off, it's going right no matter what club I have. I found the i15 to be easier to turn over for some reason, great feel, great trajectory, low spin that I need, and just LONG when well struck. I didn't see the lack of forgiveness as others have seen. I've hit an i15 outside three times, and the club always "clicked" well for me.

Taking it to the course tonight, we'll see what happens.

I've had it for months now, and it is the most consistent club in my bag. I don't notice the fade bias (I tended to draw balls before), and distance is decent (not as long as my old Burner or G10). I really like the feel and sound off the face. Because of how Ping is marketing it, it scares away mid handicappers unnecessarily. With your low handicap, you shouldn't have any difficulties with it, as long as you understand that there are longer drivers out there.

I really enjoyed this driver. The 8*w/ PF AXIVCore red 69 is about as good as a diver I've ever hit. I hit this driver really high compared to my 907 and I think I was a little longer with it but I am not to sure. I tend to hit a really light fade so I had nothing to worry about when I saw a miss go off right. I am thinking about picking up one of these to replace my 907 but no need to fix what isn't broken so maybe next year or whenever I can find a used one in good condition and not expensive.

I hit the 8* at a golf store. Of course it was inside so I couldn't see the final result, but I know it felt great and sounded even better. I didn't buy it though because I just like the adjustability of my R9...
