Why doesn't the PGA Tour have multi national events? Nationwide started their year with tournaments in Panama, Australia, then New Zealand. The European Tour started in Hong Kong, then Malaysia. What's up with the PGA? Are they just big babies?

Or am I not remembering that the Dubai Classic is a PGA sanctioned event?

I think it could also be conflict on interest. They've got so many other leauges out there: European Tour, South African Tour, Australian Tour, Japan Tour.

If the PGA came to town, these players would be stuck with empty galleries and poor courses to hold tournaments on. Kind of the same reason the Champions Tour starts out in FL while the PGA begins with the West Coast Swing. Also, there's the simple fact of money. Not a lot of countries have the $$$$ to run PGA Tour events. Not to mention appearance fees for guys like Tiger and Phil, Dubai is an example of a tournament that can because it's in a wealthy country.
