Hey guys, I'm thinking about selling a club or two, which is new territory for me. I was wondering, where can you buy the boxes to ship a club in and which shipping company seems to provide the best service (UPS/FedEx/USPS)? Originally, I had intended on using other boxes that clubs I had purchased came in to use when shipping. Unfortunately, my roommate was cleaning and decided that I didn't need them anymore and got rid of them...

Nobody else has replied so I'll help you out, I've had sold probably 2 dozen clubs on Ebay in the past year. As far as the boxes, you can buy them at any shipping location(except the Post Office). Too bad your roomate threw those other boxes out, just always hang on to them anytime you can, they come in handy. As far as UPS/FedEx/etc, I usually use USPS because they are the cheapest and easiest to deal with because there are Post Offices everywhere.
I see you live in Chicago, there's no shortage of stores there; a lot of times places just throw their old boxes out, maybe you could go to a golf store or pro shop and see if they have any. Hope this helps you out.....

I get my boxes for my local golf store. They will just give them to you. I have used UPS and USPS. Both have done the job for me.

Yup......... same here. The golf outlets here in Va. Beach are always glad to give me a few boxes.

I have also sold many clubs on eBay although I never buy there. As for boxes, I get mine at my club. I just ask the pro to save a few for me when I'm short. They get clubs in the mail almost everyday so there is never a shortage on boxes. As for putter, the Postal Service offers a Priority box for free that a putter will fit in.

+1 on going to your local golf store, many will give you boxes no prob. I prefer to ship FedEx home which cost on average about $11 for a single club.
