What is everyone's thought on keeping the rear arm (right arm for right handed players) passive in the backswing and downswing to help prevent pushing with the rear arm? Almost like your whole swing is done with the front arm so you don't push with the rear and throw off your timing. Hope that wasn't confusing. Thanks!

Most golfers are more "hitter" than "swinger," so they actually DO push with the right arm.

Good question and something I've been working on. I watched The Golf Fix last week and Breed had a good tip on taking the right hand out of the equation. When you grip the club with your right hand, take the grip like you're shooting an imaginary gun, with pointer finger out and thumb up. I practiced this for the past couple days and it really helps. For me, that stupid right hand either gets a little quick or holds back and interferes with the club squaring at impact.

Whoever came up with the saying, "A bad day of golf is better than a good day at work", is a moron.

Thanks for mentioning this! I tend to use my right arm more dominately in the swing, causing my left wrist to breakdown. Tomorrow at the range I'm going to focus on "swinging" more with my left arm.
