Spine Angle

Theres probably no set spine angle for the golf swing, but i know someone will spout out a number ;b

But is my assumption right that if you have a more upright spine angle you need to have a more vertical golf swing. The reason is i think i have been setting up to upright, with to much knee flex for my golf swing type. I rotate alot and take the club back inside a bit. So i think this with an upright spine angle causes me to come over the top.

Is there a good correlation between spine angle and swing plane path?

At address, you're probably looking at around 30-35 degrees of forward flexion, and depending on your style, anywhere from 0-10 degrees of tilt away from the target.

Golf swings that are flatter normally have more forward flexion at address because its easier to get the arms deeper and working around the body.

There is a relationship between the path and the incline and it changes if the spine angle changes. Most players that have more flexion hit draws and those that are taller hit fades, but its not exclusive.
