Almost got my frist eagle yesterday!!

Man that was so satisfying. The par 5 13th, had a great drive, followed it by a great 3 hybrid to within 100-120 yards of the green, back pin placement. Hit a PW that started a little bit to the left of the flag and turned to the right. Hits the green a few feet left of the flag, gets a lucky bounce to the right and ends up one inch from the cup for a tap-in birdie. That was a net score of double eagle for the hole as I had 2 strokes for that hole (stableford match).

Other noticeable moments of the day: a birdie on the par 4 8th with a 10 footer (net eagle) and another birdie with a 7 footer on the par 4 5th for a bogie as I had already lost my first drive to the right OB.

A par on the 18th, a couple triples and doubles and the rest bogies.

Finished 4th with a total of 39 stableford points and my handicap dropped from 28 to 27. Also qualified to play in the Peugeot challenge next week.

Way to go man. I almost had my first eagle last thursday. Uphill 455yd par 5. Driver 237 yds off tee. 218yd 3 hybrid 21* that sat on the edge of the rough and fairway. third shot ball below my feet chip shot to 3inches. when I first hit the chip i didnt think it had a chance then it started to break towards the cup and just short. i was so upset but i guess i cant complain about a tap in.
