I was able to get out for 9 holes this morning. After a season low 39(+3), I returned home to find my new clubs had arrived today. Snake Eyes 685x 5-pw, and Snake Eyes 675WB 52 and 60 wedges, all equipped with Dynalite Gold SL S300 shafts. Obviously, I had to go to the range, and I was blown away. I've played their fairway woods and wedges for a couple of years now and I knew it was time to bite the bullet and get the irons as well(I was currently playing some golfsmith XPC3000 irons). They are every bit as good as any of the big brands, and the 8 clubs I got today costed just a shade over 400....

Nope, got them from Turbo Power Golf. I put together my previous set myself with no issues, but got lazy and didn't want to do it again.

      _sigh_ so close to red text.  Went away for three days, but didn't do a practice morning-of-departure (Friday) nor evening-of-return (Sunday), so I had three misses, back to day one. Day 1, May 4 2026.  At home today, spent nearly an hour in my practice room, hitting about three dozen practice balls, primarily with my 6-iron.

      Day 254 5-4 Arms off chest in backswing and downswing. Short swing, pause and then hit.  Hit foam balls. Keeping arching of wrist a focus as well.

      I would think of it in terms of time. The time it takes to get the arm angle into a good position to deliver the club with proper shaft lean. Another component is rotation, but that is also a matter of timing. It relates to how the body stalls to give the golfer time to hit the ball. If you have to get 80+ degrees out of that right elbow in one third of a second versus 50 degrees in the same time then you have to steal time from somewhere. It is usually body rotation. That does not help with shaft lean.  I agree in that amateurs tend to make the swing more complicated than pro golfers.
