So, the past week or so I've been having a bad case of the hosel rockets. It took me 10 holes Sunday to get my swing right, hit the range today and did the same thing. I went through my swing step by step and still could not get it together. Usually my culprit is not doing a shoulder turn and instead using my arms. For whatever reason, while watching the club on my backswing, the club face was staying in the same spot, caused by me not rotating my left forearm. I started focusing on just this aspect and then started hitting my normal shots again.

My question is, can someone describe what is happening to the club and the swing path when you don't rotate the forearms (left on backswing, right on throughswing)? What's funny (actually quite frustrating and embarrassing) is that I could not even do 1/4 pitch shots because of this. I'd either top the hell out of the ball or shoot it off right. I'm sorry, I don't have video of the swing, my 14-month old was asleep in the stroller
