What's the Smartest Hole You Ever Played?

Theres a potentially disastrous par 5 at my home course. The tee box is on a hill, and the fairway doglegs right about a hundred yards out and there are trees between the dogleg(so you can't hit it straight over) and trees on the left of the fairway as well. I think they built the course and when they got finished they said, "oh crap, we only have 17 holes" and they put this hole in. The fairway isn't over 30 yards wide so I usually try to hit a hard slice around the trees to get it in the fairway instead of trying to go over the trees. From there I'll be about 250 yards from the hole(on the side of a steep hill) and instead of crushing the 3 wood I'll take a nice, smoothe, slow swing with my 5 wood and hit it about 190 or so yards and keep it in the NARROW fairway. Then I'll take a short iron from there. I have birdied this hole, but I am always well pleased with a par. I know this was a lengthy response, but this is the one hole I HAVE to use more brain than brawn

par-4 11th last week, 430 yards with a ditch 35 yards in front of the green, i know that i never ever go for it but last week i hit the most perfect drive and had about 170, it was tempting but i still played a half wedge in front of the ditch and 1 wedge shot and 1 putt later i was walking off with par and was thrilled, to cap it all off, after laying up i dropped another ball and stuck it straight into the ditch.

also, in the same round last week, the par-5 14th, 499 yards, always a 3 shotter with my length and about a 10 yard ditch at 375, i pulled my tee shot a long way and was on the 13th fairway, i usually lay up over the ditch with a good drive and had a gap through the trees to the other side of the ditch (when i say gap it was probably about 5/6 yards wide) but instead i thought may as well not cause a blow up so chipped sideways, and even slightly backwards, then layed up over the ditch, pitched on and 2-putt bogey which id take every day on that hole
