Swing Plane

I saw this tip on the show "The Golf Fix" on TGC and it was a right hand only swing drill that will help condition swinging on or below your swing plane. Now being a person who's miss is definitely an over the top or outside in slice, would this be a good drill to practice?? Also is that on or below the plane swing path the one I'm looking for? Thanks for any help.

If your right handed,

Left hand only will show you a good takeaway if you make just a shoulder turn. The left arm will have a hard time getting overly flat.
Right hand only will show you a good follow through, i use this to get the feeling of not having a chicken wing in my release.

If you want to condition a flatter downswing plane, then i would say hit shots with your right foot back, your body will block the over the top movement. Make just work on this hitting shots until your divots become straighter or from inside out.
