I am going to get a club for a friend for his birthday to replace an 07 Burner. He's been wanting something with a stiff shaft (plays a reg currently). I was looking at the R9 and the Burner Superfast. Except for the face adjustments on the R9 is there anything to recommend one over the other?

If I was your friend I'd want you to get me the Burner Superfast. I prefer the sound off the face better and I really enjoy the clubhead shape. I also like the shallow face look and to me the superfast is just more appealing than the R9.

R9 without a doubt.

it looks brilliant, I played with a guy who had one. He could hit the 3W as far as his driver.

If he has a Burner driver would he want to stick with the Burner series?
I'd prefer to have the R9 as I like its shape better but it's personal taste
