I have been video recording alot of my swings at the range and working on issues as i figure them out. I am currently working on trying to maintain my address position spine angle throughout my entire swing. My issue is at or near the top of the backswing i begin to straighten up, then the beginning of the downswing, I end up almost vertical throughout the rest of the swing. This causes my arms/hands to be about 5 inches higher at impact then at address. I saw a video of a golf master pro describing it for every 1 degree more vertical the club angle is at impact the ball goes 11 ft right of the target. No matter how square the club face is. about 3:10 in. This really peaked my interest because this is a huge issue for me, and tis caused by me straightening my spine to almost vertical.

I like to go to the range around mid-afternoon when I can use shadows to check my swing plane. If you can align your spot at the range so that the sun is directly behind you you'll be able to get instant feedback on just how much you're moving. Don't go too late in the day though otherwise your shadows will be too long to be really useful.

Also, if you use alignment sticks at your feet you'll also be able to do an instant check of your shaft on your backswing. The shadow will show you if you're outside, square or inside on your takeaway. It works great for me!

Good luck
