Ping i15 grip position

Some of you may remember my blocking irons thread on this forum.

Well I had my father look at my clubs and he confirmed that when you line the Ping logo up center on the front of the grip the iron head is sitting open, this gets progressively worse the longer the irons get (hence me hitting the longer irons more right)

Thinking of taking them back to the place I bought them (even though I have had them since last October) to see what they say.

Just wanted anyone on here who has the i15's to check and see if this is the same on yours or whether they sit square with the grip straight?

Did your local shop put the grips on?

I ask because in my experience with Ping (which is considerable, and includes owning / using most every iron set they have produced) factory installed grips are invariably perfectly aligned.

The grips on my Ping irons are lined up perfectly, but on my G15 driver the graphics on the TFC stock shaft don't line up with the club face nor the grip (the grip is square to the face though). This is a little weird because I'm used to everything being square to the club face and I have in the past found myself looking down the shaft and wanting to align the graphics on the shaft with my hands, but doing so opens the face up considerably. I've learned to ignore this, but at first I wondered if the shaft hadn't been lined up properly when it was installed?

Did your local shop put the grips on?

No they were fitted by Ping, the 4 iron had to go back as the shaft was bent so I am not sure if the guy doing the fitting that day was pissed?

I don't want to be without them for 2 weeks while they go to Ping either so I think am just gonna get 7 GP TV grips (4-PW) and fit them with my father (can get GP TV for £2.50 each)
