19 Majors - how achievable?

all i can say is that if a man can play on a broken foot/barely walk...i think he can at least win 5 more majors in the next 10-12 years. Lets not count tiger out just yet. he may be a cheater and a bad father...but he is crazy athlete and a winner...

The thing is with that particular US Open...Tiger was 100% OBSESSESSED with winning it.

As soon as Torrey Pines was confirmed for the venue at the 2008 US Open, he wouldn't stop talking about it for months with Steve Williams, Mark Steinberg, etc. I don't think you'd see as much determination if say, it was the PGA Championship at Oakland Hills or The Open at Royal Troon.

I am not sure of how many but Tiger won a lot of tournaments because the "Field" lost to him. Tiger started putting up some good numbers and the rest of the field gagged and played for runner up. How many more tournaments Tiger wins will depend on whether the field will step back and let him have the prize. Rocco is the last golfer that I remember ran with the Tiger but was outclassed. Rocco didn't gag.

I'll be happy to see Tiger win ANY tournament this year. Maybe St. Andrews will be the 1st.

Okay, so now he hasn't won the two dead-certs folks here had him down for (Pebble Beach and St Andrews), for the next 12 months or so, it leaves us with:
2010
PGA Championship - Whistling Straits

2011
The Masters - Augusta National
US Open - Congressional Country Club
The Open - Royal St Georges
PGA Championship - Atlanta Athletic Club

I'm going for his 'comeback' major to be The Masters next year...

      Day 209 (27 Nov 24) - Easy session with the LW - short pitches replicating greens side up and downs. Finished up with the 7i and hard foam balls - making 1/2 to 3/4 swings with deliberately slowed tempo…from varied lies.

      Yes, this is the 2024 model. DSG ruined what Callaway perfected for most golfers. A darn good 3 piece golf ball. Now it's a 2 piece cheap ball. To me a 2 piece ball is fine and a 3 piece budget ball is better. I prefer a slightly harder ball, something in the 65-75 compression range that will perform similar to the old Gamer. The Titleist tru-feel is pretty good. I planned on giving Maxfli straightfli a try.

      Is that the current generation Gamer? Another old standby for a firm and inexpensive ball is Pinnacle.  There are two models, the Rush and the Soft, but I don’t know what compression they are.
