Grip dry time?

I just regripped my driver and fairway metal. How long do I allow the tape/mineral spirits to cure before I put 'em back in the bag. I'm not going to playing for a few days, but I don't want to skew the alignment.

For that matter, how long should they be allowed to cure before playing? Again, I'm not playing these clubs in the next few days, but I plan to regrip the whole set (different style) in the near future. So if I regrip in the AM before a round, how long to I HAVE to wait?

Normally pretty safe after 3 hours or so. Depends on how generous you were with the spirits. Set them in the sun..... and they dry really fast.

I install all my grips dry these days and can play the club immediately.

using solvent, I usually try to give it overnight, but have regripped clubs and taken them to the range an hour later and they were just fine. It dries pretty quick. In a bag in a trunk of a car in the summer sun, you could do them before work, and have them ready to go by lunch.
