Lately I have been having trouble hitting the ball fat.
I am trying to rotate my shoulders faster but i think this is leaving my arms behind so at impact the right shoulder is way lower then my left.
Is this correct or should they be more parallel?

One of the best impact positions of all time

Good drill (maintaining, even exaggerating forwardness of hips at impact)

At impact, your right shoulder should be lower than your left (for a righty). If you are hitting behind the ball, it is likely that your hips and weight haven't shifted forward enough into impact. Extending your spine, left leg, and maintaining wrist cock into impact also promote hitting the ground in front of the ball (not behind)

To check the horizontal axis of rotation, I looked at the swing sequences in Matthew Rudy's book, The Golf Swing , and some shoulders are slightly open at impact, Justin Leonard and Tom Kite are way open, but for about half the golfers, the shoulders are in the same orientation they had at address -- dead square. Everybody's hips are open, though.
