I'm currently playing the 909 D2 with the stiff flex voodoo shaft. I've come to the conclusion that I may need an X flex (ss 110-115 with the driver).

How expensive would it be to switch to an X flex shaft? Would I just be better off selling my driver and getting the same thing with a different shaft?

Any shaft recommendations?

Thanks for your help.

I'd opt for replacing the shaft in your existing head, providing you end up with a good combination. If you can, have a club fitter look at your launch stats. They can talk to you about what you are looking for, and look at which head and shaft will help you.

I don't know about the voodoo in the 909, but some OEM shafts are made for the manufacturer. Often these aren't the same technology and characteristics as the aftermarket shafts. As long as the loft on your current head fit's your objectives, you should be able to swap in a shaft for $75 - $200 depending upon the shaft you choose.
