Keep your ball low, stay on the fairway and go for it!

Half and half meaning front 9 back 9, or a mixture through out. If front 9 back 9, pretty easy. If a mixture I think a lot will depend on your game and the weather. If its been wet and is soft and you can stop the ball, play it that way. If its dry and fast play links golf.

Driver - Speedline Fast 10: 10.5 Matrix HD Stiff
Woods - Big Bertha 5 wood
R9 4 wood
Irons - 07 X Forged 4-PW
Wedges - X Forged 50, 54, 58 Vokey Spin Milled 64Ball - Tour i Gamer V2

I'm not sure, it might be a mix.

It's been sunny for the past 2 weeks. (A miracle in Ireland!) so the fairways and greens are going to be extra hard.

I think you should consider letting your approach to the links 9 dominate your whole round. If you start off blazing with the driver on parkland, then have to switch to long irons on the links that may not be a smooth transition.

In my experience I am very accurate with irons and the last time I played a links I foolishly used the driver too often. Even some of the rough just off the fairway was punishing, then you have the sand dunes where finding a ball can be impossible.

So go out blazing with the driver for the whole round then?

I guess the 3i will be used a lot then. I'm worried about the greens though it'll be tough to stop the ball , I guess I'll have to break out the pro V's

dont worry about it, play it hole by hole. Nothing you can do if it mixes up. You still have 14 clubs, one golf ball, and what ever shots your comfortable with. Just take it one hole at a time.

With any luck the first few holes should tell you the condition of the course overall. Hitting a driver and it runs and extra 50 yards, may speak volumes about the rest of the round. I say play shot-by-shot. Hard greens and fairways, hit short and let it run... Or visa-verca. Good luck, and enjpy the round!
