So just got back from the range in my home town, grass tees werent in that good of condition it was kind of like hitting it out of the sand it was so loose
But i'm trying to think of it was a terrible terrible terrible session or i was actually hitting it well
Every shot i dunno if the balls were just weird and didnt go anywhere but, i mean SW 60 yards, gap wedge 80 yards barely
felt liek my 5 iron was going 130 yards
so rattling though

If there was little grass and mostly loose dirt, you indeed may have just had a "fairway bunker session" -- as without good ball-first contact you'd REALLY lose distance. If you're more of a "digger" than a "picker", i.e. usually pretty deep divots, you're likely to be more affected by lies like this unless your contact is perfect.
Some range balls will also rob distance as well; although if you hit some drivers off a tee and got more normal distances, it would be tough to blame the balls.

Yeah i dunno hard to say
my drives we're fine, but i couldnt tell the distance, i was hitting into a setting sun so it was impossible to tell
but i know for sure my wedge distances were all out of wack.
Like solid shots going half distances and stuff
its buggin me
