I voted Ping even though I'm playing a '09 TM Burner. I demoed a G15 earlier this Summer and it is a really great club. It's just not in the budget yet.

Whoever came up with the saying, "A bad day of golf is better than a good day at work", is a moron.

Oh man, thanks for the memories! My first real driver was a Callaway Great Big Bertha... I remember a lot of lawn mowing went into that purchase. In high school I swapped it out for a Titleist 975D when they came out... and come to think of it, that is still a good club.

yea I still own and use a titleist 975f 3 wood that I got in high school. That thing makes the greatest thwack sound upon impact out of the fairway, its such a pure sound. Just ordered a sasquatch 2 3 wood though. I honestly might carry both.

After seeing the favorite driver thread I wanted to see what the numbers are. Vote for the company that makes your favorite driver.

Seeings as how the USGA limits COR to .83 and and size to not over 460 cc's all the OEM's pretty much have that down. The only real differences between driver head design is traditional vs square and capped face vs welded face. IMO KZG and SMT have some of the highest quality heads. What makes the BIG difference is getting a loft and shaft that match your swing. It really has little to do with brand. I didn't vote cuz I have no brand allegence.
