Center Shaft Vs. Double Bend Heel Shaft?

What Is Everyones Opinion On Different Types Of Putters???? Center Shaft Or Double Bend Heel Shaft??? I Am A Scratch Golfer And Putting Has Been My Savior My Entire Life And I Switched To A Center Shaft A Montha Ago And I Have Lost My Stroke. Is It Mental??? Or Is It That The Type Of Putter Is That Much Different??? Same Putter Head Just A Different Shafting Position!!!!! I Pull All Short Putts And Push Everything Long....i Can't Make A Thing...getting Very Frustrating!!!!! Can Someone Help Me Or Is It In My Mind???

You'll see I'm no scratch golfer but its obvious your new putter is the problem. I assume you were using a heel shafted putter with some "toe hang" prior to adopting a center shafted "face balanced" putter. Toe hang puts more weight in the toe of the putter and causes the toe to hang when you hold the putter by the shaft near the head. Toe hang helps you naturally open the putter face in the back-swing and close it in the forward-swing.

A face balanced putter doesn't have this toe weight so it promotes a strait-back-strait-through stroke.

You're probably fighting your new putter's tendencies. Go back to a toe hang putter and you'll get your stroke back.
