Does anyone know anything about the New TaylorMade Burner Plus Driver?

I am looking at replacing my Nike Sumo 5900 driver. I was at Sports Authority and saw the TM Burner Plus
Driver. Nice looking club but I can find no reviews anywhere and it seems the Sports Authority is the only one
selling it. The 2009 Burner has great reviews. Wondering if anyone has info on the Burner Plus driver.

Here are more pics. Apearently it is from TaylorMade Japan. It has been out for a while there, not sure how long Sports Authority has been selling it here. Does anyone

out there work at Sports Authority and know about this club? Why is no one else selling it?

everyone I know that has one, loves it. I bought a new S2 cobra driver with a tool to change the face angle,but no instructions!. there is a closed/nuetral/open position,but cant figure out how you know which setting its on?

Don't know much about the Burner Plus, but I know the Burner Superfast Driver and Fairway woods are BOOOOOM STICKS!! May cost you a little more, but you can usually catch a good deal on Ebay. Have fun, buying new clubs is always a great time, seriously!

      I appreciate that you have taken the time to come back and update. Based on what was previously discussed I feel like the points were; forged, feel good, price, and possibly players distance. If you like the "looks" of those Maxfli irons and if price is a major point, then going straight to the source, Maltby, might make sense. Specifically, the TS3 iron. I was looking into this myself and found some reviews: Fit2YouGolf, Lets Play Thru, and ELITE FIT GOLF. As per your update I found the Maxfli to be ~$1300 fitted the way I wanted. Where the TS3 with the same fitting and assembled by Golfworks was less than $750. I suppose the downside is to actually hit the iron you will need to get lucky and find someone in your golf circle who will let you hit theirs or order a 6 or 7 iron to test. However, the way I look at that is being equivalent to some fittings. If you like the results and buy, then the fitting is free, otherwise the price of the fitting is a sunk cost. If name brand is important, then I submit for your consideration - THE BEST OVERALL IRON of 2024...... FACT !! 😉 A bit tongue in cheek that but also, I feel some good points were discussed.
