New guy from Houston

Hello everyone, My name is Chris. I am from Houston TX, and just thought I'd drop in to introduce myself.
I got into golf about six years ago, but didn't really play all that much. I played maybe four rounds per year. The last round I played, is when I finally broke 100. That was about a year ago. I quit playing due to a divorce. I have recently remarried, and my wife and I are both just getting started again. My wife has never played, but is anxious about getting started. We have been hitting the range at least three days a week, me trying to get back into the swing of it, and her just trying to develop her swing. I am looking forward to getting back out on the course, and looking forward to getting some good advice on the forum. From what I have been reading on here so far, there seems to be lots of nice people here that are more than willing to help. I am sure I will have some questions soon, but for now, I am still just reading and trying to catch up.

Anyway, that's about it for now. Be ready though, the questions will surely come.

Welcome aboard! I've found a lot of useful information on this site.
I had an opposite experience from yours - I find time to play a lot more due to a divorce. But whatever the situation, more golf is good.
Good luck trying to find a dry course to play this weekend. Been watching the weather radar all day at work trying to find an area that escaped the rain.

Your right, everything is going to be wet for a few days. I know golf balls don't float either, I've tested that more times than I'd like to admit.
