I want to share my experience with GustBuster, a company specialized in umbrellas; they have a product that is second to none in quality (they make the double canopy umbrellas for Titleist and other brands), and their customer satisfaction policy is just beyond my expectations.

I bought my double canopy umbrella (FJ DryJoys) because I live in southern Texas, where both the sun and the wind are constant factors when I play. I was very happy with my umbrella, good looking, well constructed, wind proof and the handle fits perfectly in the umbrella holder of my Clicgear pushcart.

Anyway, the first time I use the umbrella, at about the fifth hole, the wind turned my cart to its side (the umbrella was open and secured in the umbrella holder). Even when when the construction of the umbrella is sturdy, the a couple of the stretchers didn't resist and broke.

I was very angry because this is not a cheap umbrella, so when I got back home I tried to contact FJ and GustBuster for a replacement for the broken pieces. I got quick responses from both: FJ don't manufacture the umbrellas, so they replied that they couldn't help me (understandable). GustBuster (a guy named Evan) also respond quickly; they didn't have the stretchers, but they offer to send me a new umbrella for free!!!

I explain Evan that this was not a warranty claim, since I basically broke the umbrella. He didn't care, he asked me to send him a picture of the umbrella (to check the model), and he sent me a new one. I didn't even had to send him the broken one back! (He said he didn't want me to spend in shipping).

In resume, the next time you are looking for an umbrella, consider GustBuster, it is an excellent option; you will not be disappointed.

    • Day 80: did about 10 minutes of mirror work while taking a work break. Working on slowing things down to really get these feels down. Need to feel like that front shoulder gets really low.
    • Day 286 6-15 low point control using towel on the ground. Making a bit of progress there.  No ball. Worked on lowering arm, hit foam balls. Recorded
    • Day 42, June 15.  Played 18 today.  Shot 86, no birdies.  Played the par-3s in +2 and par-5s in +1 (there are only three).  Played the 11 par-4s in a total of +12, three triples and only two pars.  One of those triples was a 4-putt (in my defense, it started at the collar, it's a very long par-4 that required driver 4-wood, and the first putt was from 66').   I haven't calculated strokes gained yet for the round and I'm very very curious.
    • Driver might be out of the bag indefinitely. All I got for success on camera and ball flight is like 50% swing speed. Anything more and it’s all over the place and strike is all over the clubface.  I got no athleticism/flow right now with what I want to do. It’s too dangerous for me because the swing will just get too long and unstable at P4. It’s very robotic feeling right now.
