Serial Numbers on irons!

I recently purchased a used set of Callaway X-20 irons on Ebay and I was wondering, should these sticks have a serial number on them.? I think they should but I am not sure. Anyone have an answer for me?

nope...callaway doesn't do serial numbers, which is why they're probably the most cloned irons out there...

There should be a serial number on the 8 iron by the hosel.

Yea, Callaways have the serial number on the 8 iron. Problem is that you don't know whether the serial number is for that specific set. You can make several sets of clones which all contain the same serial number that when given to Callaway, shows it as belonging to the set you have.
