I had 2 pro's at the range say I had extremely "Fast Hands" and asked if I played baseball or hockey. I'm just curious what this means, is this implying I'm over swinging (which I do sometimes gotten a lot better now though). I've heard I have fast hips too but I think I was turning quick through the ball thus causing some of my draws. Just wanting some clarification on what they were saying.

It is probably more of a comment on your ability to square the club quickly through hand/eye coordination...more so than a classic golf swing which relies more on technique and quieter hand action.

IMHO, "fast hands" is a politically correct term for "handsy swing." But I'm not a pro.

Overswinging would be normally happening on top and hands mostly come into action before/at impact, be it active OR passiv. So my guess is they were talking about impact, but why didnt you just ask them? Those guys are criticizing but not giving you any advice? Hmm..

I think what you are referring to is more that kind of swing with not so much lower body but a lot of upper body / arms action. Thats different from being "handsy" imo, since you can do a lot of "handsy" things before/during and after impact - most of them are not good.
