Shot an 82 yesterday but it was bittersweet because I shouldve been anywhere from 70-75 with how I was striking the ball.

GIR: 9/18
Fairways Hit: 11/13

Shot a 46 on the front and a 36 on the back

Here is a hole by hole breakdown:

1 - Par 4: Nice drive down the left side of the fairway but came up short on the approach. Chipped on for the 3rd to be about 10 ft out. 3 Putt for 6

2 - Par 3: Put the tee shot left but pin high. Chipped on but 2 putted for 4

3 - Par 4: Missed fairway right however it was a dogleg I cut and had a great lie only about 30 yds out; Chipped on GIR but then 3 putted for 5

4 - Par 5: Blasted tee shot solid down the left side of the fairway. Stuck second shot just short in the sand, pretty buried. Hit a great shot to be about 5 feet out for birdie; GIR - 2 Putt for 5

5 - Par 3: Chunked it off the tee box short. Chipped on a 2 putted for a 4

6 - Par 5: Hit a good tee shot to the right. Hit 2nd shot to about 80 yds out. His a 56* into the sand. Chip on to be on in 4 and 3 Putt for a 7

7 - Par 3: Hit a tee shot to the left side just off the green in a grass bunker. Chip on and 1 Putt for a Par

8 - Par 4: Great drive down the right side of the fairway... miss the green from 150 out and put it in a sand trap. Make another great recovery shot but then 3 putt for a 6

9 - Par 5: Pushed my drive right into OB ; Drop three but hit my shot just short of the green. Chip on and 2 putt for a 6

In at 46
GIR on Front: 2/9
Fairways on Front: 4/6
Putts: 21
PAR 36 - 3 Par 5, 3 Par 3, 3 Par 4

Back-
10 - Par 4 dog leg right; hit a great drive on the fairway cutting over the dogleg to be like 20 yds out. Chip on and 2 putt for Par ; GIR

11 - Par 4 Long straight hole; Hit another great drive down the right side; approach shot on the green pin high close for a birdie - 2 Putt for Par ; GIR

12 - Par 3 Hit a bad 5 iron off the tee and was 30 yds right of the green. Chipped on and 3 Putted for a 5

13 - Par 4 - Another great drive leaving me an easy approach. Stuck it with 10 feet unfortunately 2 Putted for Par GIR

14 - Par 4 Another good drive in the middle of the fairway leaving my self 130 out over a lake and put the approach pin high again for probably 15 feet. 2 Putt for Par GIR

15 - Par 3 - Fun hole about 100 yds from the blues to a green with is 3 quarters protected by water; Hit my tee shot on the green but spun off into the rough. Chipped a good shot that hit the pin then sat on the ledge of the cup ; tap in for par

16 - Par 4 Another great drive exactly where I wanted it. Hit my new 52* pin high on the green; Lipped out the birdie put and tapped in for par GIR

17 - Par 4 A lazer beam drive down the buttons of the fairway; hit my 56 within a foot of the cup for a tap in birdie (GIR)

18- Par 5 Lay up short of a lake with a 3 wood right in the middle of the fairway - Hit another 3W just short and left of the green; Tough Pin placement chip on and 2 Putt for Par GIR

Back 9: 1 over 36
GIR: 7/9
Fairways: 7/7
Putts: 17

The back I played the course perfectly and wanted to play the front all over again but didnt... maybe another day. Thanks for reading I dont do this much but was aggravated - Putting was dreadful but off the tee and short game was good. I normally putt very well so was pretty surprised. Also Par 3's gave me fits for some reason. Back to the putting green and maybe a round at the local par 3 course. Needless to say 2 different golfers showed up yesterday

Nice breakdown and congrats! I'm really impressed as to how you remember every hole so well... I played my first 9-hole the other day and could barely remember what happened 2 holes ago!

Can't wait to be anywhere near what you just pulled off!

Cheers,

Man, I feel your pain.

i shot an 81 Sunday with 43/38

My back 9 felt so good, but front nine screwed me....I suck at Par 3's and it's becoming a mental thing on the par 3 tee boxes now too...

Here is my round:

You had a good round though. That back 9 is lush
