Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows if the set mentioned in the title has serial numbers or not. Thanks alot!

Yes, they do. Just about every major manufacturer puts serial #s on their clubs.

This is weird because I just purchased a set from a reputable seller on ebay with close to 2000 feedback and the set doesn't have any serial numbers. I went to the local Golf Galaxy and their set didn't have any either but when I asked a few other sellers on ebay they said that their sets do have them. So what do you think I should do? Is there any way to check if they are authentic? I've hit with them and they feel nice but now I'm paranoid that they are fakes!

Ive been looking for the exact same set on ebay and this very issue has kept me from hitting "Buy Now" a few times.

Im usually not one to worry about fake sticks but do let us know what ends up happening.

could you maybe post a pic of where on the club the serial # should be? (and where it obviously inst on your set?)

Thanks in advance and sorry to hear about the clubs.

Demo sets for reps and large retailers don't have serial numbers to the best of my knowledge.

If the guy on ebay has 2000 positive feedback, I wouldn't worry about them being fake.

Alright, now I feel like an idiot, but the serial # is on the 7 iron and not the 5. TM did say the 5 iron but after asking around to a few more people, everyone said the 7 and I rechecked in better light and yes it is there. So all that worrying for nothing! Thanks for the help everyone. And to JamesDuncan, I guess the best advice I can tell you is find someone with a lot of feedback if you were interested in buying from ebay, which I'm sure you already figured out. I did take these out to the range yesterday and I hit some very solid shots. I haven't played a lot lately and for musclebacks they are pretty forgiving. You can definitely tell if you don't hit it squarely but it'll fly fairly straight.

They will unless they are off the Tour Van, which are made in bulk just for the tour, and assembled on site.

have the same clubs and also bought them on ebay, i didnt even think to check the serial, shaft labels are intact and they play solid. Finally Found it on the 5 iron. I've bought 6 or so clubs on ebay and none of them have been fakes that i know of, id just be weary of buying new clubs. Seems more likely to be real if you buy it from a guy who owned and played the club, thats usually what i look for. Then you can get his review on it aswell.

    • He's going for that carelessly disheveled look but it comes off so manufactured and deliberate. Kind of like Boris Johnson. Tool.
    • Ok but seriously, are they allowed to use their phones for Tiktok or YouTube during the lulls? Rory's round took 5 hrs 51 mins
    • Hole 6, you need to hit a 240 ish slight draw. I decided to flight a hybrid. I made the perfect length backswing, I swung down better, and I kept my arms in front of my chest in the finish with a 3/4 finish.  The ball didn’t get to the tree tops, flighted push draw. I really felt that stretch of the club pulling me up into the finish.  2nd is the next shot, a 70 yard waist to waist distance 52 degree wedge that landed 3 yards short of pin high and one hop stop pin high. Nippy. 😁
    • Shot a 42. Got to making 1/2 to 3/4 my normal swing. Much better tonight. Should have been a few strokes lower. I blades a pitch shot on hole 1. Didn’t get width. Tried to make a 3/4 swing on a par five, but hit it full swing because my 3/4 is a full swing. A 8 iron went 180 yards and hit the cart path over the green into the lateral hazard. 😳
    • All of these things are possible. Couple of things to bear in mind in particular with regard to Sasho's point about a club flying out of the hands. First of all, even though a driver might have about 100lbs of force on the hands at impact at 110mph or whatever it is, most people have two hands on the club at that point (Vijay excepted, but I'm guessing his front hand was strong enough to hang on on its own), so 50 lbs per hand would be sufficient to hang on to that. Second, grips are also tapered, which helps quite a bit and they're sticky, which also helps. It seems unlikely that grip strength limits clubhead speed because the club might come flying out of your hands, but it's possible that your brain is holding you back because it knows (or thinks) it'll be uncomfortable. I would note that on occasion, I have hit drivers well off the toe or heel and the club twists in my hands as a result. That's unpleasant and I obviously try to avoid that. Subconsciously, perhaps my mind is thinking I might do that with a faster swing, so it limits my speed somewhat.  In short, while there are high schoolers with 120 mph club head speed, I think that's quite a ways from the norm and if their grip was stronger, perhaps they'd be at 125 mph. I don't think high grip strength generates speed. If there is something there, it is much more likely that low grip strength saps speed.
