I just got an email from Golf Galaxy advertising a pre-order for the new Ping models coming out - the K15's.

Are these replacing the G-15 or the Rapture in the Ping line? I'm just curious if this will lead to a price drop on the G-15's. I've had my eye on those for awhile, and a price drop would certainly help.

They look similar to the G15's but, I believe they are replacing the rapture line so you should see a price drop in those..

Usually Ping allows retailers to drop the price of the older model. Call Discount Dans Golf for great Ping prices. I recently purchased a set of i15's from them and got a great deal.

Once, the older clubs go to classic status, they cost a lot to order. I don't think the G10 will go classic right away though.

They look very similar to the G line. Does anyone have any specs on the K? I'd be interested in the differences. They must exist.

Yeah they are replacing the rapture line but I'm guess the specs will be the same. I saw the s56 irons and they look really nice. They have a little more of a cavity and I'd imagine that will open that line up to more golfers. I love my s57 ....

K15 will sit above G15 as "super game improvement" so will replace the Rapture lineup.

So it will go S57 - i15 - G15 - K15

They are also releasing a Faith line up for women to replace the Rhapsody line.

You can still order brand new G5s. Two weeks ago i went to my local retailer, was fit, and ordered a brand new set of G5s. $449 3-pw. I got a 2 iron and a uw as well.

Good luck getting them. They will be in very limited supply. The will also cost $1200-1500.

I assume they will, but is there any word on whether the Eye 2 XG will comply with the USGA's 2010 groove ruling?

      Thanks but honestly… I don't know any other way. I don't mind being wrong so long as I know where to go from there. I don't like being wrong — I'd love to get things right (which is different than "being right"). I recommend grabbing a furniture slider or a paper plate or something, and doing something like this: First, make a swing where you let your trail foot swing out as you turn, then twist that foot back in. From DL and FO, it'll look like this: Then, during a regular backswing, try to twist your foot in slightly (demonstrated in the left image): You'll notice a crease along the trail side of your hip, your pelvis will "fold" into that thigh (internal rotation of the hip joint), and your "bits" will be squished a little between your pelvis and your thigh. Ben Hogan said once: "At the top of the back swing the groin muscle on the inside of your rt [sic] leg near your right nut will tighten," Hogan wrote. "This subtle feeling of tightness there tells you that you have made the correct move back from the ball." I don't know about that, but you will probably feel something down around that area.

      Yep. I think it will start to feel even more athletic when we start on the downswing stuff later.  I know, it's just I want to be younger so I have more time to enjoy the changes. 🙂

      I need to drop a couple of stone. 🙂 😛    Yep. Yeah, but in the end, it feels more athletic, like you're actually using your legs, yeah? As you know… we use the best available info we have. Like others, I was fooled a little by 2D images for awhile (moving or still). Unlike others, I've learned and grown and moved on since then, while they're still looking at their images (often from lousy camera angles).
