I discovered this today and I wanted to share it for those unaware and looking for a PC golf game. It's free to play through your web browser at http://www.wgt.com

It seems like they want you to pay money to upgrade he virtual gear, but otherwise its free and not nearly as restrictive as the free version of Tiger Woods online. The graphics aren't too bad either. I've had a lot of fun playing it so far. Just got beat on 9 holes by some guy from Britain :p

theres a lot of wonky stuff that happens with that game, though. I played it for quite a while and eventually you can't compete unless you put a bunch of money into it.

My philosophy on golf "We're not doing rocket science, here."

      I love Rancho Park too!  I don't get out there much due to the 405 issues (Im in Santa Clarita) but I do try and get out there every now and then...last time out was in January where I eagled 17 (left green) with a holed 145 yard third shot ! Rancho is a great course! And at 24 bucks weekday with the city card, an absolute steal!

      I have played PGA West, at least one or two courses in there, but I am not sure if I've played any of the courses used to host the Hope. I played a course that I think both isn't PGA West and is host to the Hope a few years ago, possibly at a TST outing, but I'm not sure if I'm thinking of the right one. I have played Rancho Park plenty of times (exactly half of my sub-80 rounds were there!) and Wilson/Harding.  Rancho Park might be my favorite golf course among those I've played more than a half dozen times.   Hopefully I'll get a chance to play TPC Scottsdale, maybe this August or September, and at some point I think there was a PGA Tour event in Las Vegas, I should get up there and play those course(s).
