I just cannot get consistency with my Baffler 3R, I do love this club and hit it great most of the time, but as my go to club sometimes I just cannot hit it.

By not hit it I don't mean a shot that is offline slightly, I mean a hack shot.

When this happens I have swung it the same, same set up, even the contact feels good but the ball just dies off the club face and goes all over the place?

Now I am thinking shaft stiffness, so I have bought a Nike SQ Sumo 21 (£50 new) from the old clubs section at my local shop.

I am yet to give it an outing but hoping it is to do with the shaft.

I know loads of you are gonna say it is the indian and not the arrows, but I just don't get this with my other clubs, Irons, Driver or 3 Wood and as a 17.5 handicap I expect to no hit the ball perfectly all the time, but this is different to this.

Anyone else have this with a club, or even a Cobra Baffler?

You may just have a mental block with the club. What you fear, you create, especially in golf.

This may not be the case with you, but most guys tend to swing their hybrids a little too flat. Teaching pro's wil tell you to swing them more like the irons they were originally designed to replace.
