For hybrids with graphite shafts, apparently 39" would be about an inch shorter (assuming you would have graphite). Callaway and Titleist showed hybrids with both graphite and steel shafts, and graphites were a half-inch longer than steel. Other firms didn't mention steel shafts, but I'm sure you could get it custom.
