First I am a right handed golfer 5'9" tall.

I have just recentlty started playing again after being away for 10 years. When I quit playing I was at about a 1 or even player and after about a month of work I have gotten back to about a 3-4 handicap.I had played the Ping I3+ Blade when they 1st came out till I quit and have played with them for the last month.I just got a new to me set of Mizuno mp 68's and I am finding it very hard to work the ball with them although the natural shot coming from them seem to be a high fade, now I can get the right to left shot but it is extremely diffucult.I have played a set of mp 33's in the past wich seem to be the exact set as the
68's just different number stamped on them.

The new 68's I think have a larger grip on them ,do you think that might be why I am having difficulity working the golf ball like my i3 blades? I have had the shaft stiffness check and they say they are just barely below a stiff.

Any other thought or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

i have MP 68's and i find them great.
high fade suggests a regular shaft when your probably a stiff shafted kinda guy... being off 3-4.
what shafts do the MP 68's say that they have?

always give way to the Greenskeeper!!

in my bag:
whatever clubs i find left behind on the course... But the Ping Anser will never be beaten!!

BALL: only get off tractor for PRO v1's..... Now, which way to Q School???

I havent hit a 68 yet, but i play 67´s for years and recently got myself a set of 33s for cheap of ebay. I havent hit them yet, but first thing i did was giving them to a clubmaker with my loft/lie and swingweight configs and to change grips. I do this with every set i have, since i play a very flat lie angle, and every lie angle that is anywhere close to standard would produce a slight hook. You might want to have the configs on your sets checked too - especially the lie can produce a non-standard ballflight. Do you have the same shaft in your 68´s than you are used to? I guess i dont need to tell you, but this also makes a difference.
