Anyone on here ever played anything from KZG. I am seriously interested in building a set of irons this winter as a project and have looked at several component heads and these are some of the nicest looking . But looks aren't everything. I tried to search them on here but the whole PITA thing of not enough letters . So sorry if this is a repost.

I've played KZG forged CB's for about 12 years now. I have absolutely no complaints about them. The quality and workmanship is evident and you are right, they look very nice. I can tell you that the forged CB's play more like a blade than a do a conventional cavity back. The cavity isn't all that deep but they are still somewhat forgiving. Well struck shots feel like buttah!

    • Fair enough, I'll try getting out of the right side of bed tomorrow! Agreed. One of the saddest things about LIV is robbing us of what could have been 15 years of Mickelson in the booth.

    • what clubs do you like using 10 to 20 yards from?
    • Another good episode. It sounds pretty obvious that social media style golf tips/instruction is not a good way to learn golf. Too many opinions, nothing specific to the golfer, it's basically playing Russian Roulette.  I for one, like to watch online golf instruction. I have found a few I think are pretty good, but I find it interesting. It just takes some front-end mental processing to push it off to the side away from what I am doing.   I think the positives are to this is exposure. It keeps people interested in golf. It is free. It helps golf instructors who have to fix bad habits, 😉.  I rather see the game grow, and social media is not going anywhere anytime soon.  Honestly, some of the online stuff seems a bit better than some of the local instruction around my area. I have been a few stalls away from a golf instructor and you just have to shake your head at how bad it can get.
    • I used a metronome to determine my ideal putting tempo. I’ve read most people fall between 66 and 80 bpm. That range felt extremely slow to me. The bpm that felt most natural was 100.  Is that too fast? I definitely side more on a shorter, quicker stroke but being that far outside the average feels a little concerning.
