Here's a departure from Titleist:
Titleist Tour Proto D Driver . I thought they'd never get away from the pear shape. Apparently even Titleist sees the writing on the wall: technology sells clubs.

I'm not sure what I think of that club. My first impression is that it's shaped a little too much like an avocado. We'll have to wait and see how it plays.

Did Titleist hire the guys from Nike?

Not a big fan of the D1 but the quicker it comes out, the cheaper I can get a 905R.

I think Callaway filed a lawsuit against Nike because of their two new drivers coming out, because a guy left Callaway for Nike and shared the same ideas.

That last picture clears up the address position. I find it hard to get used to a Titleist driver that looks like that. I'm sure I'd get over it quickly if it hits the ball strait and long.

Can't wait to hear how the center shafted Scotty plays.
