I'm currently using the titleist 804.os 3-pw, but I plan on switching to the callaway x forged (09') during the winter. Im fine with losing some forgiviness, but how much? Maybe somone has played both, I'm just curious. There fairly similair clubs, and I have heard that the x-forged's are reaaly forgiving so we'll see.

At a 5 hi I believe you have some pretty decent ball striking ability. The X Forged are great irons. You shouldnt have any issues or notice a big lack in forgiveness.

They should be arriving this Friday. I was fitted for them this past Sunday. Once I had the right length club in my hand it felt great. I hit several pure shots in a row. When you miss, you know, but not as bad as the MB's.

Titleist 710 cb's are nothing special but they do look very nice. I've never played the 804.os irons but have played the Callaway X-forged in a PX6.0 shaft and they are forgiving to say the least aren't very hard to hit. I'd say go with the X-forged just because you can get such good deals on them right now.
