I am wondering if anyone can tell me their experiences using or testing taylormade and nike method putters and thoughts on performance comparatively. I was originally looking at a method 001 model, but then I started thinking about the new ghost daytona being half price, and I could definitely see the benefit of having the white outline. I do like inserts but, I'm finding some trouble with consistency on longer putts with my odyssey (somewhat due to yips, but still!). I've only had a chance to try the two different putter faces on the store greens made of carpet so I can't really tell.

Taylormade hasn't gone through the effort to market the grooved insert the way nike has done, leading to a lack of reviews and information on the agsi+ inserts. It makes me wonder if performance is similar or is there actually something extra to the method that makes it that much more special?

I can't really say anything about the Method putters....just not for me.... but i do have the Agsi+ insert on my Spider Vicino. I normally do not like putting with inserts at all......never could find one I liked. I always putt with my Bettinardi or Cleveland which were milled. After trying out the the Agsi+ I can honestly say it's the best feeling insert I have ever used and I am now gaming it full time and the Betti is in the garage....shame too, it's a pretty putter!
The Agsi+ seems to get the ball rolling in a straight line much quicker than most putters I have used....which is pretty much how they advertise it. I would give it a shot....especially at the price you can find them at

I sat at NYC Golg for over an hour and testing putters. Tried the Method and wasn't to crazy about it. Everything was going to the right. Tried inserts and didn't like that too much. I ended up getting a scotty cameron Newport 2. For me it felt the best, great weight and everything was going straight for me. The $300 price tag was abit tough bit I think I made the best choice for me.
