This is as much funny as it is cool. On Friday I went for fast 9, I had work on my mind mind and had a brutal ball striking day. After the round I couldn't just leave having hit the ball so poorly with my regular round the next day, so I took my PW and 150 balls to the range.

At the range I decided to hit a controlled draw to locations from 100 - 125 yards. It was a great session and felt like I had these shots really dialed in.

Saturday wasn't much of ball striking day until on the 9th I left myself a shot of 111yards that needed to draw around some trees to get on the pin. I was super relaxed as I new I had this shot, and stuck it to 1'.

On 10 I had a 105 yard shot, stuck it to 6" after it hit the pin.

After that I went out of my way to layup to my wedge and I was able to keep hitting it within 10'.

The bad part was I was poor off the tees and these great wedge shots saved pars rather then get me birdies.

My instructor has me do a drill where I hit all my irons and wedges to the 2nd shortest target on the range which is usually around 105-ish. It's a great drill because I really learn crispness, different shot shapes, controlling trajectory. It's helped me a lot.

Yes one of the best session I had at the range was trying to hit the ball boy. I sat there with an 8 iron hitting shots from 70-170 all over the place. It got me really target focused and worked great.

Before I get emails from PETBB (People for the Ethical Treatment of Ball Boys) He was in a caged cart and was having a laugh himself.
