Calloway UProGo GPS system

My wife just purchased this system for my birthday. I tried to use it yesterday but it said the file for the course I was at was curuppted(sp). Does anybody else have this system? How do you like it? Have you found that it works well at the majority of the courses you play?

I won't get to try it out again til next weekend, so any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

Haven't had that problem, but you can plug the unit in to your computer and try to get an update for that course.

Yea I saw that, I'm going to try to update it tonight. I also see where there is a $50.00 "GoMode" upgrade that is supposed to provide a more detailed view. Did you go for the upgrade? Is it worth it?

The first course you use it on has the GoMode for free so you can test it out. I didn't think it was worth it. It shows a generic picture of the green, bunkers, and water. I read there's a bug showing water in the GoMode also. There's a great review of it here:

Good review. I'm looking forward to getting out Saturday morning and trying it out.
