My golf game has been put on hold a bit lately because of the busy summer lifestyle that has hit me. In between my 3 jobs, girlfriend of 8 months breaking up with me, working on schoolwork for 2 AP classes next year, and hanging with friends, I have little time left to golf. But there's good news!

I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico!

But seriously, things are letting up a little now, and I'm getting a lot of free time to golf. Wheww!

2 months ago I strained my knee, then a week later I cut my finger, and a week after THAT I dislocated that same knee. In all, I was out of golf for about a month. As a golf fanatic, I pretty much died.

Well I'm pretty much back into full form now. I still have to wear a brace while playing, and I'm only taking a 3/4 swing, but I'm not losing any distance (maybe even gaining a couple yards). Last few rounds were 74, 74, 37 (9). Can't wait to go play The Quarry tomorrow (sight of this past year's ACE Group Classic), where the last time I played was before my injury and I shot a 74, with 22 putts. SO EXCITED.

Feels good to be back ;)

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go chip and putt.

i too shortened up my backswing to about 3/4 or so, and lost zero distance - as you said, maybe even picked up a few and consistency is a bit better
and no more hip way on backswing

I just took a swing haha. I think it was because of a previous minor injury that had it more vulnerable. It felt like a weird swing on the downswing and when I got to impact my knee just popped out, and I just fell to the ground in pain. I think my ball went like 70 yards though.
