My first boring blog entry.

I spent about 2-3 hours practicing all aspects of my game. I switched the weights around in my driver and left the tool at home , it was no help what so ever so don't do that again. The driver is still a push fade and some times of epic proportions. I am going to learn to play it or use a different club on the tee. 3 and 4 woods are great off the tee usually but there is a pride issue of not being able to use the driver. I tend to work on various things and if they are difficult or not cooperating, it is all I can think about so you can imagine the aggravation of not being able to hit driver. Irons were magnificently hit for the most part. Slight shortening of back swing helped keep my head still. I figured this out after I stopped hitting driver so I must remember it next time. I figure $41t out and forget it the next time I play until mid round. I need to kick myself in the nuts for not reading my notes.

Chipping and pitch was okay, some really good shots made and good putting. Sometimes it is mentally better to practice than play...

I have been sticking to the range and practice lately since I started working out again after a month off. Muscles are sore and tight daily and I don't know how that is affecting my swing.

    • As long as it's from a reputable seller it should be just fine. Just make sure the picture of the weight looks the right shaped weight for that specific driver head. You can even weigh it yourself when you get it if you want to be extra sure. Personally I don't consider $15 for something that can greatly change your impact and delivery characteristics to be "not cheap" but that's just my opinion. Especially since you know it's bringing it closer to what you were fit into and you're already saving a bunch of money by going the used/prior model year route too.
