Finally talked to a pro today for a little 15 minute mini-lesson.

Got me on film and as soon as I saw my drive swing vs my iron swing I just shook my head.

The weight shift on my drive was so off balance it was ridiculous. I was loading up like a baseball swing (at least I still got it...) and basically at impact it was either perfectly timed or that ball was going in the woods.

Basically staying more squared on the ball will take off 20-30 yards (which is a trade off I'm DEFINITELY willing to give up) but keep the ball in the middle of the fairway.

On the launch monitor after the adjustments the ball had a nice little draw to it maybe 5-10 yards off line but nothing a quick turn of my R9 shaft wont fix. Can't wait for the spring.

Waiting out the 2 feet of snow that just dropped on the course....

Can you post the swing here? Staying over the ball shouldn't make you lose any yardage, it should make you more consistent.
