I'm 6' 2" 160lbs. teenager and I'm a 6 handicap. I live in the northeast so the most practice I get right now is hitting into a simulator a couple times a week but I'm starting to feel uncomfortable with how much I should be rotating my hips and shoulders. I feel like the more I try to rotate my hips/shoulders the more I tend to chunk the ball and the less I turn results in a weak fade. Any drills or tips would be great.

With out seeing your swing, i think when you rotate more your getting to far off center and your not recovring, that is your upper center is to far behind the ball and your hips are not pushing forward enough.

A drill i can think of, is take your stance with out a club and then walk towards a wall so your head is againts it. Then take your swing and makes sure your head doesn't slid back.

You can also work on stretching, you look in good shape being 6'2 and 160, i can only wish, i am 6'1 ;b But not sure how flexible you are. how's your distance with your driver?

Yeah I think stretching is part of it too- I'm pretty inflexible. But thanks for the drill I'll be sure to try that and my distance with my driver is normally a consistent 240/250 (hard to tell since I mainly use my 3 wood off the tee) but the driver is the club where the "weak fade" is the most evident. I'm not sure what the hell I'm doing but it's extremely frustrating. I watched a video of my swing yesterday and I was shocked at how little my hips were turning so could that be the problem?
