To all the pros (and arm chair pros..LOL) why am I hitting it here.....?

After 18 today you can see I hit it everywhere to the top and right of center...I cant even sneak up on it less I hit it on the heel (which didnt show with the shot off the heel today)

Is this something I should be worried about and try to correct later or just worry about my game in general? (because I have to tell you that slight fade it creeping back in my bag and I dont like it (since I changed to the R9)

Yeesh, without video it's not much more than a guess.

Some of those are pretty bad, though.

Obviously you know that your sweet spot was left of or inside the golf ball, so ask yourself (and share with us) if anything in your swing feels like it's going inside or left a little prematurely.

What was the ball flight (we'll have to consider that toe shots will have a little more "draw spin")??

Most of those were straighter shots except for a couple extreme slices. The later in play it got and the more I realized the wider my backswing became the better my shots became (this is the first time I have been on the course this winter instead of the range or hitting into the pasture) so after the nerves wore off a little the better they felt... but... I havent been cutting or fading the ball all winter so I immediately started trying to tinker with my swing...then stopped my irrational thinking and started slowing my swing up a little and started hitting a little better...but I still couldnt straighten it out completely..(also the worse shots were when I was trying to shape a first few doglegs...plus nerves...plus rust...plus not really being good...LOL)...Thanks Erik

So it sounds like you were pulling across the ball a bit today. Width is one thing, but depth is good too...

A lot of slicers will hit the ball off the toe because they're swinging left so hard. Sounds like you just had a bad day with an exaggerated (more than normal for you, that is) out to in swing? The toe balls will have a little "draw spin" as I said so if you were pulling them a little they could end up going fairly straight... (pull relative to your stance, which may have been a little right).

I'd check your foot alignment next time. I always feel that it's better to have to push the ball to the target (i.e. an open stance) than to pull it back on target (with a closed stance).

I'd offer more thoughts but again without video it's mostly a guess...
