Hi to you all, first post and already admitting my biggest problem it seems.

This goes out to all those hot-headed guys, that do not accept bad shots to happen.

I have been a true hacker for quite some time, taking golf really only as a means to do some workout. Working in Asia, and honestly most Metropolis here don't give too many options in my opinion. But Golf is obviously one. So I have for most of the last 3 years been pretty much horrible, and only cared, when playing with friends back in Europe...

For the last 3 months, I have now gone on a practice rage: daily driving range, twice a week with the pro, 2 rounds of golf a week. And my handicap went from a true 30+, to about 13 in no time. But, the handicap is not the thing that I really give alot about really. It is rather breaking my best score at any course that I play. Say I shot a 75 (Par 66 Course), everytime I play this course again now I aim to go lower. As happened today: Went out there: was 2 over through the first nine, a nice par on 10, went OB in 11, Tee'd off again: OB, lost it from there ... Same happened yesterday: I had a great round really: 39 on the back-9, 3 over, and decent throughout the first nine, if ... if you just forget about 3 outrageous holes in the middle of it.

Now: I do know that I play this only for fun. But yet, I just cannot accept when on the course, that I would have a really bad shot. And as soon as this happens, I can basically write-off the next 3 holes at least...

I just assume, there must be people like me. So all of you that did struggle with keeping it together for 18 holes. What did you do? (I know: play one hole at a time, treat every shot seperatly, etc ... all not working for me at this moment anyways!).

Tips much appreciated.
