Ever since I took the factory grip off a couple of my putters, and the scotty I recently picked up didn't have the stock grip on it, I haven't been able to get a putter grip on any of my putters the way I like it.  For some reason it always feels crooked.  Part of it is just my mind, I've put some on and for the first day or so they feel good.  All of a sudden I will start to look at it and it will feel too closed or too open.  I decided to put a normal round golf grip on one of my putters and see how it felt.  My putting stroke doesn't feel all that different, but it feels a lot easier setting up to the ball.  Is this logical or am I going to run into problems with this?
