Finally getting back into golf after my clubs got stolen 2 years ago, and looking to get a new belly putter. I'm very picky about visual aesthetics and I need something that helps me keep my swing straight with my eyes right over the ball. The best club head I've demoed so far (at 35"), for my ability to keep the club on a straight line, is a Teron CS. Both shops I've gone to, however, have said that they can't adjust the lie angle and lengthen the shaft to make it a belly putter for me, because it would throw the weight distribution off and yada yada. It needs to be about 41". Is this something that's readily done with a lie angle adjustment, shaft extension, and tungsten powder? Or is there some reason why changing the lie angle and adding weight will create problems with this particular club?
