Hiya everyone

I've opted for this site as my first golfing forum, at a glance it looks very detailed and impressive.

I've very much learning the ropes of the game at the moment so go east on me

      USGA Eliminate Virtual Clubs?

      https://www.usga.org/content/usga/home-page/get-handicap.html I think they mostly took it over in-house. I still have an eClub but we mostly use it for juniors, volunteers, etc.

      I was thinking of finally getting a real handicap.   I've kept scores and calculated an unofficial handicap for many years.   When I went to the Golf Association of Michigan website, I didn't see any virtual clubs.   I emailed GAM, and they responded that the only option was the clubs listed, which did not include virtual clubs.   Are virtual clubs no longer eligible for membership in the USGA?

      Day 8: 5/14/2025 Played 9 holes today for the Wednesday Night League.  I played probably the worst I've played in a long time. In fairness, the course was pretty water-logged and the grass was super high and super thick everywhere.

      Adding in, feeling like I purposely try to smash the clubhead into the ground 2 ft behind the ball. Just an arms down swing feel visual.
